Sensitivity testing (HRIPT)
No evidence of irritation or sensitization
103 out of 104 subjects completed sensitivity testing (HRIPT) with no evidence of irritation or sensitization under study conditions. Dermatologist oversight.
How we measured +
- Hydration and TEWL-related barrier performance: single-application evaluation in 31 healthy women, ages 22–70, measured at 30 minutes and 8 hours, with the #003 test site compared against an untreated control site.
- Barrier figures are the #003 test site's mean reduction in transepidermal water loss (TEWL) from its own post-tape-stripping baseline. Untreated skin also recovers; the #003 site recovered significantly more.
- HRIPT (Human Repeat Insult Patch Test): dermatologist-supervised; 104 subjects enrolled and 103 completed — 52 with sensitive skin and 51 with normal skin, ages 18–67.
- #003 is a cosmetic moisturizer. It complements care and never replaces prescribed treatment.
